WI Tech Month 🌟 Celebrating Women in Tech – Tara Ali 🌟

Meet Tara Ali, a true embodiment of passion, determination, and the transformative power of technology. As we dive into “Women in Tech” week during WI Tech Month, we’re excited to showcase the remarkable journey of leaders like Tara.

Tara’s love affair with computers and technology sparked at an early age, kindled by her very first “Tandy” computer from Radio Shack. Fast forward to 1997, Tara graduated from Central State University in Wilberforce, OH, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Management Information Systems (MIS).

For over a quarter-century, Tara has been a tech trailblazer, contributing her expertise in a multitude of areas, from Version Control to Release Management and beyond. Her journey has led her to a pivotal role as the Manager of Workday Systems at the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club.

At the Brewers, Tara seamlessly merged her tech prowess with her love for sports, becoming a self-proclaimed “Tech & Sports Nerd.” She played a pioneering role in implementing Workday, an enterprise software and management system, making the Brewers one of the first Major League Baseball teams to do so.

However, Tara’s role goes beyond traditional tech responsibilities. She serves as a bridge, aligning the diverse needs of the organization across financials, payroll, human capital management, and more, all on the Workday platform. Her mission? Ensuring a harmonious, user-friendly experience for allβ€”an integral part of the system’s success across the organization.

Tara’s dedication and impact highlight the incredible value that technology brings to organizations. As we celebrate “Women in Tech” week, we’re fortunate to have leaders like Tara Ali, shaping the future with their passion and expertise.

Tara, thank you for being an inspiration to us all!
